Hello, I'm Sophie

Sophie Joans is an award-winning theatre-maker and storyteller from Cape Town, South Africa, with Mauritian roots. She’s written and performed in various plays, including Île, (Gold Standard Bank Ovation Award), The Flower Hunters (Blue Standard Bank Ovation Award) and her latest play, Dog Rose. 

 

When she’s not performing or creating, she’s teaching or facilitating workshops on Improv and Storytelling.
